Sports for All Day took place on Monday 19th June in the grounds of Newtown School. This is not a competitive sports day – but rather one which introduces children to a range of sports and activities, with an emphasis on participation and enjoyment. We are indebted to Newtown for the use of their grounds. The day would not be a success without our amazing past pupils and their friends – all students in Newtown – who gave up their time to plan and organise the activities. They are tremendous role models for the younger pupils. We are also grateful to past parents Andrew and Angela Cox who organised the orienteering and made it accessible to every child from 6th class down to the youngest Junior Infant.
