June 2022

Summer is coming! Ms Walsh’s 4th and 5th class drew summer portraits of their friends.

Mrs Colquhoun’s 2nd and 3rd class have been using their imaginations to “look through the keyhole”.

For World Ocean Day on 8th June, Ms Walsh’s 4th and 5th class designed their own “Waterford Wall” in line with the Water is One Campaign.

February 2022

Mrs Hemmingway’s 5th and 6th class created these eye-catching posters to mark Safer Internet Day which is on 8th February.

January 2022

Ms Walsh’s 4th and 5th class read “The Iron Man” by Ted Hughes, and drew their own illustrations for the story.

Mrs Stanley’s Junior Infants made these rocking snowmen with wobbly heads.

Mrs Hemmingway’s 5th and 6th class explored techniques with paint and paper-cutting to create these winter scenes.

December 2021

Ms Butler’s Senior Infants and 1st class made these handy Christmas wreaths.

Mrs Hemmingway’s 5th and 6th class learned about Newgrange, Stonehenge and the solstice, and then created these atmospheric mixed media pictures.

Ms Butler’s Senior Infants and 1st class designed colourful Christmas jumpers for Ryan Tubridy to wear on the Late Late Toy Show.

Mrs Stanley’s Junior Infants made these colourful rockets that fly towards the moon.

Ms Walsh’s 4th and 5th class have been learning about the Stone Age in history.

October 2021

Ms Butler’s Senior Infants and 1st class have been learning about animals that hibernate for the winter. They created these cosy hide-out sponge-printing and leaf pictures.
