Thank you to all who donated raffle prizes, and who bought tickets. We had almost 100 prizes in the raffle today, spread over three tables, and it generated great excitement, as children had to listen carefully to the intercom to see if their name was drawn. For many winners, the hardest part was deciding which prize to choose!
As if that wasn’t enough excitement for one day, we had two very special visitors this morning – Santa and Mrs Claus. Each class had a socially distant visit, and heard about the reindeer and the elves, and then every child received a gift. Things may have been a little different this year, but we are glad to have been able to maintain our Christmas traditions in school.
“Best day ever!” said a child in Mrs Colquhoun’s class!
