Dear all,
Now that we have our fabulous new school extension, it’s time to use it!
We hope you will be able to join in some of the activities we have planned over the next few weeks.
Wednesday March 22nd 11am-1pm in the school hall.
As part of Daffodil Day events around the country to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society, we invite you and your family and friends to come along for a cuppa and a bun.
The peace proms choir will serenade us, and we will have a raffle that morning also.
It promises to be a lovely social morning for a great cause and we kindly ask for your support in donating buns, biscuits, small cakes, kiddy treats etc.
Just send the goodies to school with the kids Wed morning.
Beetle Drive Thursday March 23rd 7-8pm in the school hall
We are delighted to announce that the Beetle Drive is back!
This is a really fun and sociable evening and we would love as many parents and primary aged school kids as possible to attend.
Entrance will be €5 per family and there will be spot prizes and a raffle for the kids.
We would love if you could donate prizes for this eg, a game, book or even an easter egg.
Other dates for your diary:
Table Quiz April 6th Phil Grimes Pub 8pm.
Get your teams of 4 together, €20 per table. This was a lovely relaxed evening last year, and there are great prizes already gathered!
Pre-loved children’s clothes sale April 27th in the school.
As you’re doing your clear-outs over Easter, please put aside any good quality good condition items of clothing and footwear for primary school aged kids that you can hardly bear to part with!
We will ask you to send them to school the Monday and Tuesday after the Easter break where we will price them between 50c and €5 and sell them along with teas, coffees and treats.
Coffee and Shopping all in a good cause!
The money raised from these events will be used to buy outside furniture for the school, and we hope you can support as many of them as possible.
See you soon!
